SORP contract for the SORP Secretariat and to publish future SORPs awarded

The Charity Commission for England and Wales (CCEW), the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland (CCNI), and the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) comprise the joint SORP-making body invited bids for this contract for the provision of print, publication, distribution and future updating of the new Charities SORP. The SORP-making body gratefully acknowledge the assistance of the Charity Regulator (Republic of Ireland) in facilitating this tendering process. In the tender documentation the SORP-making body was referred to as the Grantor.

Information for Bidders was set out in the invitation to tender document. The new contract was let and awarded to the Chartered Institute for Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) to run for a minimum of three years from December 2018 with the option to extend for up to two more years. CIPFA was awarded both Lots:

  • Lot 1 - Provide a fully managed end to end print, publishing, and distribution service for the second edition of the Charities SORP and proposed future revised edition with an initial term of three years from December 2018 to December 2021 with options to extend annually to December 2023.
  • Lot 2 - Provide full secretariat and technical drafting service for a revised edition of the SORP and development of the next SORP with the initial contract term of three years from December 2018 to December 2021, with options to extend annually to December 2023.
